Post Specification

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in promoting whole-person education through various forms of exchanges and learning experiences.

2. Coordinate internally and liaise externally to deal with undergraduate student affairs, including but not limited to implementing daily operations on the student information system and document filing.

3. Provide pastoral care, youth service, guidance and consultation to students and work out a systematic approach to prevent, early identify and timely follow up on student issues.

4. Act as the first line of help in terms of emergency alarms regarding students’ safety and health. Conduct initial crisis intervention when necessary.

5. Undertake other duties assigned.

*Working non-office hours may happen.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. A bachelor’s degree or above.

2.3 years of student-related working experience are required, preferably in the higher education sector. Experience in enquiries handling, professional counseling, study or career guidance are highly preferred.

3. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

4. Able to work independently, taking initiative and full responsibility for completion of tasks assigned.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office software – Excel in particular, and student information database.

6. Capable of working independently and as part of an integrated team in a fast-paced work environment with a strong sense of responsibility and positive spirit, and a willingness to work non-office hours.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.

4. 在涉及學(xué)生安全和健康的緊急情況下,在第一線(xiàn)給予幫助,必要時(shí)進(jìn)行初步的危機(jī)干預(yù);

5. 完成上級(jí)交辦的其他任務(wù)。

*可能會(huì)出現(xiàn)非辦公時(shí)間工作的情況。

崗位要求:

1. 本科或以上學(xué)歷;

2. 有3年及以上學(xué)生相關(guān)的工作經(jīng)驗(yàn),有高等教育領(lǐng)域工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)者優(yōu)先,有咨詢(xún)、學(xué)習(xí)或職業(yè)指導(dǎo)經(jīng)驗(yàn)者優(yōu)先;

3. 良好的中英文書(shū)寫(xiě)和口語(yǔ)能力;

4. 能夠獨(dú)立工作,積極主動(dòng)并全面負(fù)責(zé)完成分配的工作任務(wù);

5. 精通 Microsoft Office 軟件(尤其是 Excel)和學(xué)生信息數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù);

6. 能夠在快節(jié)奏的環(huán)境中獨(dú)立和協(xié)作工作,具有較強(qiáng)的責(zé)任感和積極進(jìn)取的精神,愿意在非辦公時(shí)間工作。
