Post Specification

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To provide faculty administrative support, including handling financial requests, research assistant hiring, research fund application, policy interpretation, liaison with university departments, etc.

2. To organize and execute academic events such as academic seminars, workshops, etc.

3. To be in charge of faculty recruitment by coordinating online/overseas interviews, arranging online/on-campus job talks, liaising with faculty and the area recruiting committee as recruitment secretary, etc.

4. To handle faculty personnel matters, such as tenure and promotion, mid-term review, annual review, annual appraisal; responsible for collecting and verifying faculty materials, gathering feedback, etc.

5. Assistance in information collection and maintenance for the area and school.

6. To undertake other assignments by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above, preferably with a Master's degree;

2. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;

3. 3 years’ relevant working experience in higher education institutions;

4. Strong communication, organization, coordination, and interpersonal skills;

5. Customer-oriented attitude and able to deliver quick and quality responses;

6. Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team;

7. Patient, responsible, and cheerful, shows initiative and takes full responsibility for the completion of tasks with the ability to work under pressure.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.

工作職責(zé):

1. 處理教師日常行政事務(wù),如報(bào)銷(xiāo),固定資產(chǎn)、數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)采購(gòu)與驗(yàn)收,兼職研究助理服務(wù)協(xié)議簽訂與薪酬發(fā)放,科研經(jīng)費(fèi)申請(qǐng),政策解讀、與校內(nèi)相關(guān)部門(mén)對(duì)接等;

2. 組織舉辦學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng),如學(xué)術(shù)研討會(huì),學(xué)術(shù)午餐會(huì)等;

3. 負(fù)責(zé)教師招聘相關(guān)工作,包括協(xié)調(diào)線(xiàn)上及海外面試、組織候選人校園面試、與招聘委員會(huì)對(duì)接,并擔(dān)任招聘秘書(shū)等;

4. 處理教師人事相關(guān)工作,如教師終身教職與晉升,期中考核,年度評(píng)估與績(jī)效考核等,負(fù)責(zé)收集、核對(duì)教員材料,收集反饋意見(jiàn)等;

5. 協(xié)助領(lǐng)域及學(xué)院的信息收集與維護(hù)工作;

6. 處理上級(jí)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)交代的其他工作。

崗位要求:

1. 本科或以上學(xué)歷,碩士?jī)?yōu)先;

2. 良好的中英文書(shū)面及口頭表達(dá)能力;

3. 有3年以上相關(guān)工作經(jīng)驗(yàn);

4. 具備較強(qiáng)的溝通、組織、協(xié)調(diào)及人際交往能力;

5. 具備良好的服務(wù)意識(shí),能夠高效、優(yōu)質(zhì)地響應(yīng)工作需求;

6. 積極主動(dòng),能夠獨(dú)立工作和團(tuán)隊(duì)合作;

7. 具備耐心,責(zé)任心及積極樂(lè)觀(guān)的工作態(tài)度,抗壓能力強(qiáng)。
